We are seeking an experienced IBM DataPower Specialist to join our Integration Engineering team. This role is responsible for the design, configuration, security, and support of our enterprise API and gateway platforms using IBM DataPower Gateway.
This role will play a key role in ensuring secure, high-performing integration between internal systems, partners, and cloud platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and configure services on IBM DataPower (MPGW, WSP, API Gateway)
- Implement API security (OAuth, JWT, mTLS, WS-Security)
- Develop transformations using XSLT and GatewayScript
- Configure SSL/TLS and manage certificates
- Support CI/CD deployments and environment promotion
- Troubleshoot performance, connectivity, and security issues
- Collaborate with API, security, and infrastructure teams
Required Experience & Skills
- 5+ years hands-on experience with IBM DataPower Gateway
- Strong understanding of REST, SOAP, XML, and JSON
- Experience implementing API security standards
- Solid troubleshooting and performance tuning skills
- Familiarity with enterprise integration environments
Advantageous:
- AWS API Gateway
- Experience with IBM API Connect
- Knowledge of IBM MQ
- Exposure to hybrid or cloud-based integration architectures
