Job Description:

Key Responsibilities

Design, configure, and implement business workflows using IBM Cloud Pack for Business Automation under guidance of senior architects.
Develop and maintain business rules using IBM Business Rules / ODM.
Implement BPMN-based workflows.
Integrate workflows with Java / Spring Boot microservices using REST APIs.
Consume and publish workflow events to Kafka or equivalent event streaming platforms.
Assist in translating functional and policy requirements into executable workflows and rules.
Support rule testing, simulation, and validation to ensure correctness and auditability.
Work closely with business analysts and SMEs to understand tax/compliance process flows.
Maintain workflow documentation, diagrams, and configuration artifacts.
Assist in performance tuning of workflows and rule execution under supervision.
Participate in UAT support, defect fixing, and production issue resolution.
Follow enterprise security, RBAC, and compliance guidelines while implementing workflows.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Technical Skills

Hands-on experience with IBM Cloud Pack for Business Automation.
Working knowledge of IBM Business Rules / ODM or similar BRMS platforms.
Understanding of BPMN 2.0 concepts, human workflows, and decision flows.
Experience in Java, Spring Boot, and RESTful API integration.
Familiarity with Kafka or messaging systems (basic producer/consumer understanding).
Basic understanding of SQL and data-driven rule evaluation.
Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (Git).
