We are seeking an experienced IBM API Connect professional to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in API management, with a strong focus on designing and developing APIs using IBM API Connect.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and manage APIs using IBM API Connect.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement solutions.
- Monitor API performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
- Ensure API security, scalability, and reliability.
- Document API specifications and maintain up-to-date documentation.
- Provide technical support and training to team members on API best practices.
Skills and Qualifications
- 7-12 years of experience in API management, specifically using IBM API Connect.
- Proficient in designing RESTful APIs and understanding of API protocols such as HTTP, SOAP, and JSON.
- Strong knowledge of security protocols such as OAuth 2.0, JWT, and SSL/TLS.
- Experience with API Gateway technologies and microservices architecture.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Proficient in programming languages such as Java, Node.js, or Python.
- Experience with cloud platforms like IBM Cloud, AWS, or Azure.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
