As an IBDP Spanish Teacher, you'll play a key role in shaping globally minded learners through engaging, inquiry-based instruction aligned to the IB philosophy.

Role & Responsibilities

• Deliver dynamic, standards-aligned Spanish language instruction following the IB Diploma Programme (IBDP) curriculum for Grades 11–12.
• Design and implement student-centered, inquiry-driven lessons that foster intercultural understanding and linguistic proficiency.
• Assess student progress through formative and summative evaluations, including IB external and internal assessments.
• Collaborate with MYP and DP coordinators to ensure vertical alignment and continuity in language learning pathways.
• Participate in faculty meetings, professional development, and IB-related workshops to support curriculum innovation.
• Mentor students in CAS (Creativity, Activity, Service) projects with a Spanish-language or cultural focus where applicable.
  
  

Skills & Qualifications

• Must-Have
• IBDP certification or IB workshop training
• Native or near-native Spanish fluency
• Proficiency in IB assessment criteria and rubrics
• Experience teaching IBDP Spanish Language B or ab initio
• Lesson planning aligned with IB ATL skills
• Classroom management in international school settings
• Google Classroom or similar LMS
• Microsoft Office or Apple iWork suite
• Preferred
• Previous experience teaching in IB World Schools in India
• Knowledge of IB Theory of Knowledge (TOK) connections
• Experience with bilingual or multilingual learners
