IBDP Psychology Teacher Oakridge International School
Oakridge International School is seeking an experienced and passionate IBDP Psychology Teacher to deliver high-quality instruction aligned with IB standards and to support students academic and personal development.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver Psychology lessons as per the IBDP curriculum and assessment criteria.
- Develop students inquiry, research, analytical, and critical thinking skills in line with the IB learner profile.
- Prepare students for internal assessments and external examinations.
- Use varied teaching strategies including case studies, research-based learning, and experiential methods.
- Monitor student progress, provide feedback, and maintain academic records.
- Integrate Theory of Knowledge concepts where applicable.
- Participate in curriculum planning, moderation, and standardization activities.
- Communicate effectively with parents and contribute to school events and the IB community.
- Engage in ongoing professional development, including IB training.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Psychology or a related field.
- IBDP training or certification preferred.
- Minimum 23 years of experience teaching Psychology at IBDP or equivalent level.
- Strong understanding of IB philosophy and assessment practices.
