A K12 international primary education provider operating in the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP) sector is hiring immediate joiners for on-site Hindi teaching roles in Jaipur. This opportunity is ideal for teachers who specialise in language acquisition, inquiry-based learning and delivering age-appropriate Hindi curriculum in a dynamic, student-centred primary setting.
Role & Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver inquiry-based Hindi lessons aligned with IB PYP units, learning outcomes and language acquisition benchmarks.
- Design transdisciplinary unit and lesson plans that differentiate instruction to meet diverse learner needs and support inclusion.
- Use formative and summative assessments to track student progress, maintain learning portfolios and provide actionable feedback.
- Create a language-rich classroom environment that promotes oral, reading and writing proficiency and fosters student engagement.
- Collaborate with year-level teams, learning support and parents to ensure consistency of learning and share progress updates.
- Integrate digital classroom tools (e.g., Google Classroom) for assignments, assessments and student portfolios.
Skills & QualificationsMust-Have
- Demonstrated experience teaching Hindi to primary-aged students within IB PYP or similar curricula
- Fluency in Hindi with strong instructional English proficiency
- Proven ability to design inquiry-led, differentiated lesson plans and assessments
- Familiarity with student assessment strategies and learning portfolio management
- Comfortable using classroom technology for planning, instruction and reporting
- Available to join immediately and work on-site in Jaipur (non-residential)
Preferred
- IB PYP training or certification
- Experience with digital portfolio tools (e.g., Seesaw) and Google Workspace for Education
- Background in multilingual classroom instruction or additional language pedagogy
