About The Opportunity
We are hiring for the K-12 international education sector, focused on Primary Years Programme (PYP) delivery and curriculum leadership in Chennai. This on-site coordinator role supports IB accreditation, drives curriculum coherence across primary grades, and partners with school leadership to elevate teaching and learning standards.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead PYP curriculum design and implementation across primary grades, ensuring alignment with IB standards and school learning goals.
- Design and coach teachers on rigorous transdisciplinary unit planners, assessments, and formative practices to improve student outcomes.
- Manage and maintain curriculum documentation and reporting systems (e.g., ManageBac); coordinate IB authorization and evaluation processes.
- Conduct classroom observations, deliver targeted professional development, and mentor teachers to embed inquiry-based pedagogies and ATL skills.
- Use assessment data to monitor progress, inform curriculum adjustments, and communicate learning impact to stakeholders.
- Coordinate whole-school events, exhibitions, and collaborative planning cycles to foster a consistent PYP culture on-site in Chennai.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field; B.Ed/PGCE or equivalent preferred.

- Strong understanding of IB standards, inquiry-led pedagogy, and experience supporting accreditation processes.
