IB MYP/DP Individuals & Societies (Geography)

To design and deliver high‑quality inquiry‑based learning in IB MYP Individuals & Societies with a strong focus on Geography, and to effectively teach IB Diploma Programme Geography, enabling students to become critical thinkers, globally aware citizens, and ethical decision‑makers in alignment with IB philosophy.

Teaching & Learning

• Teach MYP Individuals & Societies, with an emphasis on human and physical geography, global issues, sustainability, development, and spatial thinking.
• Teach IB DP Geography (SL and/or HL) in accordance with IB subject guides and assessment requirements.
• Design engaging, concept‑driven units aligned to:

*MYP global contexts, key concepts, and related concepts

*DP Geography syllabus, assessment objectives, and command terms

• Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs and support language development.
