IB Maths Tutor

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging Mathematics lessons aligned with IB MYP and DP curriculum.
• Teach Mathematics Analysis & Approaches (AA) and/or Applications & Interpretation (AI) at SL/HL levels.
• Develop lesson plans, unit planners, worksheets, assessments, and instructional materials.
• Foster inquiry-based learning and conceptual understanding.
• Conduct formative and summative assessments and maintain accurate student records.
• Guide students in Internal Assessments (IA), Extended Essays (EE), and project work.
• Differentiate instruction to meet diverse student learning needs.
• Integrate technology and digital learning tools into classroom instruction.
• Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to students and parents.
• Participate in curriculum planning, departmental meetings, school events, and professional development programs.
• Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.

Required Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Mathematics or related field.
• B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification.
• IB certification/training preferred.
• Minimum 3–5 years of teaching experience in IB/IGCSE/International curriculum schools.
• Strong understanding of IB assessment practices and inquiry-based pedagogy.
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
