Job Title: IB Early Years Programme (EYP) Homeroom Teacher / Montessori Trained Teacher (MTT)

Position Overview
We are seeking a caring, creative, and enthusiastic Early Years Homeroom Teacher / Montessori Trained Teacher (MTT) to join our IB learning community. The successful candidate will create a nurturing, safe, and stimulating environment that supports the holistic development of young learners through play-based, inquiry-driven, and child-centered learning experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and implement engaging, developmentally appropriate learning experiences aligned with the school's Early Years and IB philosophy.
- Foster inquiry, exploration, creativity, and problem-solving through play-based learning.
- Support the development of early literacy, numeracy, communication, social, emotional, and motor skills.
- Integrate music, movement, storytelling, art, and sensory experiences into daily learning.
- Encourage children's independence, confidence, and self-expression.
- Use formative assessment strategies to inform planning and instruction.
- Prepare student progress reports and communicate learning outcomes effectively.
- Share regular feedback with parents regarding student development and achievements.
- Collaborate with colleagues in curriculum planning and programme implementation.
Qualifications And Experience (Essential)
- Bachelor's/Master's Degree in relevant subject area.
- Teaching qualification (B.Ed., D.El.Ed., Montessori, ECCE, or equivalent).
- Minimum 2–3 years of teaching experience in Pre-Primary, Kindergarten, Nursery, or Early Years settings.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
- Strong understanding of child development and early childhood pedagogy.
