Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking passionate and experienced English educators to join our growing team as IB English Tutors. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of IB English content, test-taking strategies, and pedagogy. This is a remote, full-time position focused on preparing students for IB English, as well as developing their overall reading, writing, and analytical skills.

Responsibilities:

Deliver high-quality, engaging IB English lessons through Zoom.
Diagnose individual student strengths and weaknesses and tailor instruction accordingly.
Review instructional materials, lesson plans, practice questions, and mock tests.
Provide detailed feedback to students to support continuous improvement.
Monitor student progress and communicate performance updates to relevant stakeholders.
Collaborate with academic mentors and curriculum designers to ensure consistent and effective delivery of content.

Key Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree (or higher) in English, Education, Literature, or a related field.
Prior experience teaching IB English or related standardized exams
Excellent command of English grammar, vocabulary, reading comprehension, and rhetorical analysis.
Strong instructional and presentation skills, particularly in an online teaching environment.
Proven ability to engage and motivate students across different academic backgrounds.
Familiarity with online educational tools and platforms (Zoom).
Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet diverse learner needs.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Commitment to student success and academic mentorship.
