Job Summary:
We are seeking passionate and experienced English educators to join our growing team as IB English Tutors. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of IB English content, test-taking strategies, and pedagogy. This is a remote, full-time position focused on preparing students for IB English, as well as developing their overall reading, writing, and analytical skills.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Deliver online English classes for IB, SAT and other international curricula.
- Explain grammar, vocabulary, and language concepts in a clear and engaging manner.
- Use real-life examples to improve reading, writing, speaking, and comprehension skills.
- Develop students interest and confidence in the English language.
- Plan lessons and create structured teaching materials aligned with the curriculum.
- Assign and evaluate essays, assignments, and comprehension exercises.
- Facilitate interactive discussions, debates, and activities to enhance communication skills.
- Provide additional support to slow learners through personalized guidance.
- Build strong relationships with students to encourage participation and confidence.
- Monitor and improve students pronunciation, fluency, and overall language proficiency.
- Track and report student progress regularly.
Key Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree (or higher) in English, Education, Literature, or a related field.
- Prior experience teaching IB English or related standardized exams
- Excellent command of English grammar, vocabulary, reading comprehension, and rhetorical analysis.
- Strong instructional and presentation skills, particularly in an online teaching environment.
- Proven ability to engage and motivate students across different academic backgrounds.
- Familiarity with online educational tools and platforms (Zoom).
- Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet diverse learner needs.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Commitment to student success and academic mentorship.
Job Type:
Full-Time | Remote
Timings : 8 hours a day between 6-9 am and 3-11 pm .
6 days a week. Week off can be given on Tue/Wed/Thurs
