IAM and Lotus Notes infrastructure specialist

Ensure secure, compliant, and efficient management of user access rights and infrastructure

support for Windows Server resources (including Active Directory) and Lotus Notes (HCL

Notes/HCL Domino). The role involves validating and executing access requests, maintaining

infrastructure integrity, and proactively improving access control processes.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Access management and

authorization Validate and execute authorization requests for Windows Server resources, including Active Directory (AD) and HCL Notes/Domino environments. Critically assess requests for compliance, necessity, and futureproofing; escalate unclear or non-compliant requests to appropriate stakeholders. Create and manage AD user accounts, ensuring correct properties and group memberships. Manage access to shared resources (e.g., file shares, device admin rights) by promoting the use of AD groups over direct access assignments. Process mailbox-related requests, including assigning rights and configuring mailboxes. Maintain documentation of authorization procedures and infrastructure configurations.

Lotus Notes/Domino

Administration Serve as the primary owner of the Lotus Notes infrastructure, incl. client-side support for IBM Lotus Notes 8 and server-side administration of HCL Domino versions 12–14. Monitor and maintain the health, performance, and security of the Lotus Notes environment. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Lotus Notes clients and Domino servers. Actively support Notes developers during application rollouts or migrations. Process Lotus Notes authorization requests and handle related tickets.

Collaboration and

communication Collaborate with IT security, infrastructure, and service desk teams to align access management practices with organizational policies and security standards. Communicate with requestors to clarify and validate access needs. Interact with vendors for Lotus Notes/Domino-related issues or escalations. Coordinate with Notes developers regarding the Notes infrastructure.

Compliance and continuous improvement Follow up on compliance by reviewing, validating, and investigating access rights in the Windows environment. Propose and implement improvements to access management processes and infrastructure reliability. Handle authorization-related incidents and ensure timely resolution.
