About The Opportunity
Healthcare Dental clinic / Oral healthcare services in an urban neighbourhood. We provide general, preventive and cosmetic dentistry with a focus on patient comfort, safety and efficient chairside workflows. This is an on-site opening in Navrangpura, Ahmedabad for a hands-on Dental Assistant to join a high-volume, patient-focused clinic.
Position
Role: Dental Assistant (On-site)
- Timing: 10:00 AM 7:00 PM, Monday to Saturday
- Location: Navrangpura, Ahmedabad
- Salary: 12,00018,000 (depending on experience)
Role & Responsibilities
- Provide chairside assistance during restorative, prophylaxis, endodontic and minor surgical procedures to ensure smooth clinical flow.
- Prepare and set up treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and maintain instrument trays according to infection-control protocols.
- Operate intraoral X-ray equipment and process radiographs as required, maintaining radiation safety standards.
- Take accurate dental impressions and prepare materials/trays for prosthetic and restorative cases.
- Manage patient seating, suction, isolation and comfort; monitor basic vitals when indicated and escalate clinical concerns to the dentist.
- Maintain clinical records, assist with inventory management and support reception staff with appointment flow when needed.
Skills & Qualifications
Must-Have
- Chairside assisting
- Infection control andSterilization
- Dental radiography
- Dental impression taking
- Suction and saliva-ejector
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in a dental clinic (clinical assisting)
Preferred
- Basic Life Support (BLS) or first-aid certification
- Experience with dental practice management software
- Exposure to orthodontic or implant-assist procedures
