Job Purpose: The Engineering (I&C) Manager-ACSL supports the successful execution of district cooling system (DCS) projects by managing all instrumentation and control (I&C) aspects throughout the project lifecycle. This role ensures seamless integration of I&C systems, overseeing installation, testing, and commissioning while maintaining technical compliance and alignment with design specifications. The position focuses on optimizing system performance, mitigating technical risks, and ensuring timely delivery, contributing to the reliable, efficient, and sustainable operation of ACSL's DCS portfolio.
Responsibilities
Engineering (I&C) Manager-ACSL
Design And Technical Support
Contribute to system accuracy by assisting in the design of I&C systems, ensuring compliance with project requirements, industry standards, and regulatory guidelines.
Support system reliability by reviewing and verifying technical drawings, specifications, and calculations, ensuring quality standards are met and minimizing post-installation issues.
Assist in the integration of I&C systems by providing support in cross-functional collaboration to improve project efficiency and ensure alignment with other engineering disciplines.
Feasibility And Documentation
Assist in technical feasibility assessments by conducting studies on I&C system designs, evaluating costs, resources, and timelines to ensure realistic project execution.
Contribute to compliance efforts by supporting the preparation of technical documentation, including project specifications, tender documents, and system requirements to ensure timely project approvals.
Support decision-making by providing clear and accurate technical reports to stakeholders, helping to define project scope and timelines.
Project Execution
Support timely installation and commissioning by assisting in overseeing processes, ensuring adherence to budgets, and meeting quality standards across all project phases.
Minimize delays by proactively identifying issues during construction, testing, and commissioning, helping to ensure seamless execution and system performance.
Ensure compliance by supporting the coordination with contractors and suppliers to ensure I&C systems meet safety, quality, and performance standards.
Technology And Innovation
Assist in technology integration by supporting the incorporation of state-of-the-art control and automation technologies (e.g., SCADA, PLC, DCS) into I&C systems, contributing to system efficiency and operational reliability.
Promote continuous improvement by staying informed about emerging technologies and supporting their integration into I&C systems to maintain alignment with industry trends.
Compliance And Quality Assurance
Support regulatory compliance by assisting in the development and maintenance of up-to-date documentation for I&C systems, ensuring adherence to codes, safety standards, and regulations.
Contribute to quality assurance by assisting in reviewing technical documentation and project deliverables to ensure compliance with internal and external quality guidelines.

Qualifications
Educational Qualification:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation & Control Engineering, or a related field.
Master's degree (optional, but preferred) in a relevant field such as Electrical Engineering, Automation, or Control Systems Engineering.
Relevant certifications in I&C systems, control systems, automation technologies, or project management (e.g., PMP, Six Sigma, or similar) would be advantageous.
Work Experience (Range Of Years)
Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in the I&C engineering field, including project design, execution, and management.
Proven experience in leading and managing I&C projects from concept to commissioning, particularly within industrial, energy, or infrastructure sectors.
