Job Description

About the Role

We are looking for a smart, detail-oriented, and analytical intern to support our Hyperlocal Marketing operations. The role involves business listing audits, data analysis, category research, competitor benchmarking, and report preparation for multiple brands across industries.

No prior experience in Hyperlocal Marketing is required. We are looking for someone who enjoys working with data, researching information online, identifying patterns, good with excel and PPT to present insights in a structured manner.

Key Responsibilities

Business Listing Audits

  • Perform regular audits of business listings using our Hyperlocal Marketing platform
  • Identify missing, inaccurate, duplicate, or inconsistent information across listings.
  • Track listing health and maintain audit reports.

Data Research & Analysis

  • Research business information from online sources.
  • Validate and organize data for multiple brands and locations.
  • Analyze listing performance metrics and identify areas for improvement.
  • Maintain trackers and databases with high accuracy.

Category & Competition Research

  • Research Primary and Secondary Categories relevant to different businesses.
  • Conduct competitor analysis and benchmarking.

Reporting & Documentation

  • Prepare audit reports and summaries.
  • Create Excel-based trackers and analysis sheets.
  • Develop PowerPoint presentations for internal and client reporting.
  • Document findings, observations, and recommendations.
  • Review and Response Management - Using our AI generated response, reply to the reviews by users on Brands public platform.

Operational Support

  • Assist with day-to-day Hyperlocal Marketing activities.
  • Support account managers with research and data requirements.
  • Coordinate and follow up on assigned tasks.

Skills Required

  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent internet research skills.
  • Analytical mindset and comfort working with numbers.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
  • Basic PowerPoint presentation skills.
  • Strong written communication skills.
  • Ability to learn new tools and processes quickly.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Pursuing or recently completed graduation in Business, Commerce, Marketing, Economics, Analytics, Statistics, or related fields.
  • Familiarity with Digital Marketing, or Google Business Profile is a plus but not mandatory.
