We are seeking an experienced Hyperion HFM (Hyperion Financial Management) Functional Consultant to join our client's dynamic IT team. As a key member of their organization, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise in the implementation, configuration, and support of Hyperion HFM solutions.
Key responsibilities:
- Maintain and develop HFMApplications with close liaison with operational teams on enhancement of application and reporting on forecasts and plans.
- Project management of related projects including new planning applications or modules, training projects, related BI reporting, or system upgrades
- Gather and analyze business requirements
- Participate in determining standards and best practices as related to the financial close and consolidation processes
- Design and implement HFM applications, including Chart of Accounts, Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss and Cash Flow accounts and Movements.
- Tune and optimize existing HFM applications
- Ensure strong control environment around Hyperion systems to comply with external and internal audit standards.
- Liaise with other teams within Group Finance such as Financial Reporting and FP&A as well as operational Finance to ensure development needs are met.
Requirements:
- 8+ years of overall experience implementing Oracle Hyperion applications
- Strong functional knowledge of HFM and FDMEE
- Should have Implemented 2 to 3 Projects end to end, including design, build, test and deploy activities.
- Expertise in HFM Rules development, Member List and FDM custom scripting, MAXL, and calculation scripts.
- Good understanding of Entity Structure, Group company set up, Ownership & Equity methods.
- Good knowledge on HFM Dimension structures.
- Possess understanding of HFM consolidation, Elimination and Translation concepts.
- Ability to manage HFM users and HFM security concepts.
- Experience with HFM v11.x.x required
- Oracle Hyperion Web Analysis reports, Smart View reports, Excel add-in
- Strong understanding of HFM clustering and ability to register new consolidation and application servers to the HFM cluster
- Ability to interact with business users and shape business requirements into workable solutions.
- Hyperion Financial Management Certification a plus
