Hydraulic Engineer

Job Responsibilities 

• Perform preventive, corrective and breakdown maintenance of hydraulic systems in test rigs.
• Maintain NAS valve in minimum level.
• Ensure 0 contamination in hydraulic oil through proper filtration, monitoring and maintenance.
• Troubleshoot hydraulic system faults by checking pressure levels, flow rates and sensor feedback.
• Monitor and analyze signals for faults in hydraulic valves, pumps, actuators and other components.
• Identify root cause of system breakdowns and implement effective solutions to minimize downtime.
• Carry out visual inspection for leaks, blockages, noise, vibration and other abnormal conditions.
• Ensure all hydraulic components are in good working condition and perform as per standard.
• Maintain records of maintenance activities, observations and parts replaced.
• Ensure safety compliance and follow standard operating procedures.

• System troubleshooting & breakdown analysis
• Checking pressure levels, flow rates and sensor feedback
• Visual inspection for leaks or blockages
• Monitoring signals for faults in hydraulic valves, pumps, actuators

Additional Skills

• MC & HMC - PM and Troubleshooting
• Routine mechanical maintenance of machines and equipment
• Hydraulic system maintenance in high pressure test rigs (400-500 bar)
• Good problem solving and analytical skills
• Basic knowledge of PLC/SCADA is an advantage
• Strong communication and teamwork
