Job Description
Role -
Hydraulic Design Engineer will be responsible for design and producing drawings and documents within stipulated time period in a supportive team environment.
Prime Role and Duties
- Preparation of Circuit, BOM , drawings and related design documents.
- Preparation of 3D models and SW drawings. ( GA drawings and Part Drawings).
- Producing hydraulic designs from technical specifications
- Producing calculations and supporting design documents such as Basic power calculations
- Working closely with electrical, Production and other departments to Creating Bills of Materials for allotted project designs and liaising with purchasing and production personnel.
- Being involved with assembly, commissioning and testing of HPP, will be added advantage.
Software Knowledge required.
- SolidWorks / Solid edge.
- AutoCAD
- Microsoft office (Word, Excel and PPT)
- SAP (added advantage)
Qualification & Core Competences
- Diploma / BE degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering /Hydraulics / or similar discipline.
- Have experience in a hydraulic design role, preferably in mobile & Industrial equipment.
- Have a practical knowledge of hydraulic components and its selection.
- Have a sound understanding of hydraulic and mechanical engineering principles.
- Have a flexible approach and a good sense of humour, to work well in a team and customer environment.
- Experience in Hydraulic Cylinder Design is added advantage.
Experience required: -
- Preferable: 2 to 4 years of experience in Mechanical / Hydraulics design and development.
- Up to 6 years of experience may be considered.
