Hybrid Infrastructure Administrator

Responsibilities :

Administer and manage Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform (OCP) clusters, ensuring platform availability, scalability, and performance.

Install, configure, upgrade, and troubleshoot IBM Fusion infrastructure and container storage solutions.

Manage VMware vSphere, ESXi, vCenter, clusters, virtual machines, and associated virtualization services.

Administer Nutanix AHV, Prism Central, and HCI environments, including capacity planning and performance optimization.

Manage and maintain Cisco UCS, switches, servers, and other data center hardware components.

Perform infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and lifecycle management activities.

Monitor infrastructure health, resource utilization, and system performance using enterprise monitoring tools.

Implement and maintain high-availability, backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity solutions.

Perform OS, hypervisor, firmware, and platform patching activities while ensuring minimal business disruption.

Troubleshoot complex infrastructure, virtualization, hardware, storage, and container platform issues.

Collaborate with application, network, cloud, and security teams for infrastructure deployments and operational support.

Automate routine infrastructure tasks using Ansible, Bash, PowerShell, or Python.

Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for critical incidents and implement preventive measures.

Ensure compliance with security standards, infrastructure hardening, and governance requirements.

Create and maintain technical documentation, SOPs, architecture diagrams, and operational runbooks.

Support infrastructure modernization, migration, and cloud transformation initiatives.

Participate in 24x7 production support, incident management, change management, and on-call activities.

Manage hardware inventory, vendor coordination, warranty tracking, and lifecycle management of enterprise infrastructure assets.

Perform capacity planning and recommend infrastructure upgrades to support business growth.

Provide L2/L3 support for mission-critical production environments and ensure SLA adherence.
