Hybrid Infrastructure Administrator

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer and manage Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform OCP clusters ensuring platform availability scalability and performance
• Install configure upgrade and troubleshoot IBM Fusion infrastructure and container storage solutions
• Manage VMware vSphere ESXi vCenter clusters virtual machines and associated virtualization services
• Administer Nutanix AHV Prism Central and HCI environments including capacity planning and performance optimization
• Manage and maintain Cisco UCS switches servers and other data center hardware components
• Perform infrastructure provisioning configuration management and lifecycle management activities
• Monitor infrastructure health resource utilization and system performance using enterprise monitoring tools
• Implement and maintain high availability backup disaster recovery and business continuity solutions
• Perform OS hypervisor firmware and platform patching activities while ensuring minimal business disruption
• Troubleshoot complex infrastructure virtualization hardware storage and container platform issues
• Collaborate with application network cloud and security teams for infrastructure deployments and operational support
• Automate routine infrastructure tasks using Ansible Bash PowerShell or Python
• Conduct root cause analysis RCA for critical incidents and implement preventive measures
• Ensure compliance with security standards infrastructure hardening and governance requirements
• Create and maintain technical documentation SOPs architecture diagrams and operational runbooks
• Support infrastructure modernization migration and cloud transformation initiatives
• Participate in 24x7 production support incident management change management and on call activities
• Manage hardware inventory vendor coordination warranty tracking and lifecycle management of enterprise infrastructure assets
• Perform capacity planning and recommend infrastructure upgrades to support business growth
• Provide L2 L3 support for mission critical production environments and ensure SLA adherence
