HVAC Sales Engineer

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site HVAC Sales Engineer role based in Hyderabad. The HVAC Sales Engineer will identify and develop new business opportunities, build and maintain relationships with customers, and promote Vaayu Aircon's Hybrid AHUs and other cooling solutions. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting site visits, understanding client requirements, preparing technical proposals, sizing and selecting HVAC equipment, and collaborating with design and engineering teams. The role also involves delivering product presentations, providing pre- and post-sales technical support, coordinating with installation and service teams, and tracking sales performance against targets. The HVAC Sales Engineer will ensure solutions meet energy-efficiency, sustainability, and compliance standards while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong HVAC Engineering and general HVAC knowledge, including systems, components, and industry standards.
• Candidates should possess skills in HVAC Design and Computer-Aided Design (CAD) to support accurate system sizing, layout, and proposal development.
• Candidates should have proven sales and client relationship skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
• Candidates should demonstrate strong analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation abilities, as well as effective written and verbal communication skills.
• A bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, or equivalent practical experience in HVAC sales or engineering, is preferred.
• Experience with sustainable or energy-efficient cooling solutions and familiarity with local building codes and HVAC regulations will be beneficial.
