Job Description
Utthunga is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented HVAC Designer to join our engineering team. We are looking for an individual with hands-on experience in industrial projects, capable of performing design calculations, preparing detailed engineering deliverables, and coordinating with various stakeholders. If you have a strong understanding of HVAC system design standards and proficiency in relevant software, you'll play a key role in our projects.
Job Responsibilities
- Must have hands-on experience in industrial projects such as Clean Room, Commercial, and Food Industries.
- Possess knowledge of relevant standards for duct and HVAC system design.
- Responsible for all engineering activities related to:
- Selection of appropriate HVAC systems.
- Finalization of engineering deliverables.
- Perform design calculations manually or using software tools for various HVAC components.
- Prepare Concept to Detailed Design Engineering deliverables under senior engineer guidance, including:
- Design basis documents.
- Calculations and datasheets.
- Technical specifications.
- Bid documents and supporting data.
- Review vendor drawings and coordinate with vendors to finalize design (under senior engineer guidance).
- Evaluate technical bids and prepare bid analysis reports with recommendations (under senior engineer guidance).
- Collect as-built data from project sites and update final design drawings accordingly.
- Willingness to travel to project sites for:
- Technical discussions.
- Data collection.
- Supervision during execution.
- Handover activities.
- Willingness to travel for equipment inspections at vendor locations as required.
Industrial Background
- Experience in Clean Room, Commercial, and Food Industries is preferred.
IT Skills
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office.
