HVAC Designer / Draftman

Role Description This is a full-time, Office HVAC Designer / Draftman role based in Vadodara. The role involves preparing detailed HVAC design and layout drawings, including ducting, piping, and equipment placement, using relevant design and drafting software. The HVAC Designer / Draftman will coordinate with mechanical engineers and project teams to develop load calculations, equipment selection, and schematic diagrams. Day-to-day tasks include reviewing project specifications, supporting plumbing design interfaces with HVAC systems, updating drawings based on site feedback, and ensuring designs follow industry codes and client requirements. The role also includes preparing documentation for installation and commissioning, assisting in quantity estimation, and collaborating with site teams to resolve design-related queries.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of HVAC Design and HVAC systems, including load calculations, equipment selection, and layout planning.
• Understanding of Plumbing Design and Plumbing integration with HVAC systems for industrial and commercial projects.
• Background in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline, with the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Proficiency in CAD/drafting tools (e.g., AutoCAD or similar) for preparing and modifying HVAC and plumbing drawings.
• Good analytical, problem-solving, and coordination skills, with attention to accuracy and detail in design documentation.
• Ability to work on-site in Vadodara, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and manage multiple design tasks within deadlines.
• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services, or an equivalent technical field preferred.
• Familiarity with relevant HVAC and building codes/standards; prior experience in industrial or commercial HVAC projects is an advantage.

Experience

• Relevent - 3 to 5 years of Experience in the Same HVAC Field.
