Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced **HVAC Design Head** to lead our HVAC design function. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the complete HVAC design lifecycle for commercial interior fit-out and industrial projects while ensuring technical excellence, quality, and timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities

* Lead and mentor the HVAC design team.

* Develop HVAC concepts, detailed engineering designs, and construction drawings.

* Perform HVAC load calculations, duct sizing, equipment selection, and system design.

* Prepare and review HVAC layouts, schematics, BOQs, and technical specifications.

* Coordinate with Architectural, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Protection, and Execution teams.

* Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and client requirements.

* Drive value engineering and optimize HVAC system performance and project costs.

* Review consultant submissions and provide technical guidance during project execution.

* Manage project timelines, resource planning, and design deliverables.

* Stay updated with the latest HVAC technologies, industry standards, and best practices.

Qualifications

* Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.

* 10–15 years of experience in HVAC Design, preferably in commercial interior fit-out, design & build, or industrial projects.

Required Skills

* Strong expertise in HVAC system design, load calculations, ventilation, chilled water systems, VRF/VRV systems, ducting, and equipment selection.

* Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and HVAC design software such as HAP or similar tools.

* Strong understanding of NBC, ASHRAE, IS Codes, and other relevant standards.

* Excellent leadership, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.

* Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills

* Experience in handling large-scale commercial office fit-out projects.

* Knowledge of value engineering and energy-efficient HVAC solutions.

* Familiarity with LEED, IGBC, or other green building standards.
