HVAC Design Engineer

Job Description:

1 Understanding the Customer Requirement, RFQ, Tenders.

2 Preparation of Deliverables list.

3 Design/Engineering/Selection of suitable components.

4 Explore the solutions and Alternates

5 BOM/BOQ preparation.

6 Offer arrangement and negotiation along with Suppliers.

7 Costing against BOQ line items

8 Technical proposal preparation

9 Tender documentation preparation and participation in Pre bid meetings.

10 Site visit to understand the requirement and meetings with Customers.

11 Various interdepartmental team communication and coordination to conclude solution.

12 Utility sales related experience

Skill requirement

1 Must :Thermal calculation and system/component sizing (HVAC/Fluids etc.), Pipe sizing, Pump selection etc.

2 AUTOCAD/2D Drafting software.

3 P&ID & BOM Preparation and costing

4 Fluid Mechanics, Pump, Chiller selection, Cooling tower selection.

5 Support structure & Skid design and calculation

6 Solid works modelling - Nice to have

7 Sketch Up modelling - Nice to have

8 Facilities Know how like , HVAC system, Chilled water, Cooling water, Fuel system, Civil etc.

9 Psychometric chart /Pressure drop calculations

10 Cost effective solution preparation

11 Vendor interaction know how

Others expectations

1 Must have good verbal and written communication skill.

2 Communication in English is desirable

3 Good Know how of MS-Excel, Power point and word

4 Self Driven.

5 Contribute Business development
