Job Title: HVAC Design Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced HVAC Design Engineer to join our MEP design team.

The candidate should have strong expertise in HVAC system design for commercial,

residential, industrial, and healthcare projects. The role requires in-depth knowledge of

cooling/heating load calculations, duct and pipe sizing, equipment selection, and

compliance with international and Indian standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop HVAC systems including chilled water, DX, VRF, ventilation, and

exhaust systems.

Perform heat load calculations using industry-standard software (HAP, TRACE, etc.).

Prepare detailed HVAC layouts, equipment schedules, and technical specifications.

Select equipment such as AHUs, chillers, VRF units, pumps, and fans based on

project requirements.

Ensure compliance with ASHRAE, ISHRAE, NBC, and other relevant standards.

Coordinate with architects, structural, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection teams.

Support BIM coordination and integration of HVAC systems in Revit MEP/AutoCAD.

Participate in design reviews, value engineering, and technical meetings with

consultants and clients.

Prepare BOQs, material specifications, and technical reports.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelor's/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.

812 years of proven experience in HVAC system design and execution.

Strong knowledge of load calculation software (HAP, TRACE, or similar).

Proficiency in AutoCAD (mandatory) and Revit MEP (preferred).

Knowledge of international codes and green building standards (LEED/IGBC) will be an

advantage.
