Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an HVAC Design Engineer - BIM based in Bengaluru. The position involves designing HVAC systems, carrying out mechanical engineering calculations, and collaborating with other disciplines on plumbing and HVAC-related tasks. The role requires creating accurate Building Information Modeling (BIM) designs for construction projects and ensuring compliance with relevant mechanical and industry standards.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in HVAC Design with a minimum of 2+ years of hands-on experience in building services or related industries.
• Strong understanding of HVAC systems across various building types and project scales, including commercial, residential, industrial, and institutional facilities.
• Working knowledge of BIM processes, standards, and tools, with the ability to coordinate effectively within a BIM environment.
• Proficient in developing HVAC design models in Revit, using load calculations, design criteria, and project specifications as references.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent technical field.
• High attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to deliver accurate, compliant, and coordinated designs.
• Collaborative mindset, capable of working closely with multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience leading or guiding drafting teams, ensuring quality and consistency in drawings and model deliverables.
• Demonstrated experience in designing HVAC systems for diverse building typologies, ensuring compliance with applicable codes and standards.
