About the RoleWe are hiring HVAC Designers to join our client's engineering team in Chennai. This opportunity is open to freshers who have completed an HVAC Design course, as well as candidates with 12 years of professional experience in HVAC design or drafting.
Key Responsibilities- Perform HVAC design tasks, including heat load calculations and equipment sizing.
- Prepare ducting, piping, and ventilation layouts using AutoCAD (mandatory).
- Assist in developing technical drawings, schematics, BOQs, and equipment schedules.
- Coordinate with senior engineers, project teams, and drafting teams for design accuracy and updates.
- Support during tendering stages, design reviews, and site coordination as needed.
Required Skills- Decent working knowledge of HVAC systems (VRF/VRV, Chillers, AHUs, FCUs, Ventilation systems).
- Strong drafting skills using AutoCAD.
- Knowledge of Revit MEP is an added advantage (not mandatory).
- Good analytical ability, attention to detail, and willingness to learn and adapt.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
Eligibility Criteria- BE/B.Tech/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Freshers must have completed a certified HVAC Design Coursemandatory requirement.
- Experienced candidates must have 12 years of experience in HVAC design or drafting.
