HVAC Design Engineer

Description

We are seeking an experienced HVAC Design Engineer to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing HVAC systems for a variety of projects, with a focus on energy efficiency and sustainability.

Responsibilities

• Design HVAC systems for commercial and industrial projects
• Perform load calculations, energy modeling, and equipment selection
• Prepare detailed engineering drawings and specifications
• Collaborate with architects and other engineering disciplines
• Conduct site surveys and inspections to assess existing conditions
• Ensure compliance with local building codes and regulations
• Provide technical support during construction and commissioning phases
• Participate in project meetings and communicate design intent to stakeholders

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• 10-15 years of experience in HVAC system design
• Proficiency in HVAC design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, HAP, or similar)
• Strong understanding of ASHRAE standards and building codes
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Knowledge of energy-efficient design practices and sustainable HVAC solutions
