Lead a team of technical professionals and oversee all primary engineering activities for 145kV to 420kV GIS.
Manage primary engineering teams during project execution, focusing on post-order activities.
Review, verify, and approve technical documentation (e.g., SLD, GSLD, GTP, layout foundation) during the execution phase for customer submissions, ensuring coordination of engineering drawing approvals and support during customer FAT inspections.
Drive the development and optimization of engineering processes to enhance quality and streamline operations.
Oversee engineering operations related to primary project engineering execution with hands-on involvement.
Possess in-depth knowledge of high voltage power products, including metal-enclosed circuit breakers, product structures, and applicable material standards (ISO, IEC, DIN, ASME).
Communicate effectively with stakeholders to align engineering activities with customer satisfaction goals.
Review and validate the Bill of Materials (BOM) for projects in accordance with specific requirements.
Background:
B.E/B. Tech in Electrical Engineering with 15 to 20 years of relevant experience.
M.E/M Tech in Electrical Engineering or Power Systems is preferred.
Preference for candidates with experience in HV GIS product engineering.
Familiarity with international standards (IEC, IEEE, BIS, CIGRE) and exposure to global practices.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with all levels of management and stakeholders, with an ability to communicate complex technical information clearly.
Proven track record of managing complex projects from concept to design, development, and execution stages.
