Knowledge of AIS and GIS Substation design for all voltages up to 400kV is essential Knowledge of primary equipment, such as circuit breakers, disconnectors, earthing switches, instrument transformers, power transformers, etc.
Preparation of Local control cubicle (LCC) design for projects based on customer specification.
Understand and adhere to standard practices of leading utilities like PGCIL etc.
Preparation of LCC schematics including interlocking logics, Coordination with HV GIS equipment and signal interface with other substation equipment.
Preparation of LCC panel general arrangement drawing including front view, mimic arrangement, equipment arrangement of relays, terminal blocks etc.
Prepare, review and validate Bill of material of LCC panels based on project requirement.
Preparation of Site installation documents.
Preparation of system documents like AC/DC load, Heat Loss/Load calculations and LV control cable specification.
Preparation and update of MDL and ensure proper documentation review/ control.
Prepare and maintain as built documents.
Providing optimized and customized solutions for various substation tenders (GIS, Hybrid).
Communicating with customers & solving technical queries related to Product / Project.
Coordinating with the cross functional teams for design progress and completion.
Coordinate with external vendors/ suppliers for panel deliveries.
Plan, implement, review and continuously improvise quality system including documentation.
