Job Description

We are looking for a hands-on HR Specialist with a proven NBFC background who will own end-to-end hiring and core HR execution for Choice Finserv. The role requires deep exposure to NBFC-specific hiring, statutory compliance, and branch-led operations, with the ability to independently drive outcomes rather than rely on central teams.

Key Responsibilities

Talent Acquisition (Primary Focus)

Own end-to-end recruitment for NBFC roles including:

Credit, Risk, Underwriting

Sales & Business Development

Collections (Field & Tele-calling)

Operations, Compliance & Audit

Technology & Analytics (NBFC systems)

Design and execute volume and lateral hiring strategies aligned with business growth.

Build and manage NBFC-specialized consultants, local recruiters, and referral channels.

Drive branch-level hiring across states with tight TAT and quality benchmarks.

Ensure hiring strictly adheres to RBI/NBFC regulatory and fitment requirements.

HR Operations & Governance

Ensure smooth onboarding, documentation, and background verification for all hires.

Manage HR lifecycle processes: confirmations, transfers, exits, and final settlements.

Maintain compliance with labour laws, shop & establishment acts, and NBFC HR norms.

Coordinate with central HR / leadership while retaining execution ownership within Choice Finserv.

Support performance cycles, incentives, and manpower budgeting in coordination with business heads.

Stakeholder Management

Act as a single point HR owner for business teams.

Work closely with CXOs, Business Heads, and Branch Managers to anticipate manpower needs.

Provide regular MIS on hiring, attrition, TAT, and workforce health.

Mandatory Requirements (Non-Negotiable)

Minimum 7 years of HR experience strictly in NBFC / Lending / Financial Services

Proven track record of successful NBFC hiring (credit, sales, collections, ops)

Strong understanding of NBFC organisational structures and RBI expectations

Experience handling multi-location / branch-heavy operations

Ability to work independently with high ownership (not just coordination role)

Hands-on experience with HRMS, payroll inputs, and recruitment tools
