Location: Coimbatore

Compensation: Up to 6 LPA + incentives

Role Snapshot

Own Kambaa's recruitment engine.

As our HR / Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will be responsible for finding, engaging, evaluating, and closing high-quality talent across sales, pre-sales, implementation, technical, support, marketing, and operations roles.

This is not a traditional HR admin role. Your primary mission is to help Kambaa scale by building a strong hiring pipeline, especially for SaaS, IT services, and digital transformation roles.

You will use LinkedIn, job portals, referrals, AI tools, and structured hiring processes to identify exceptional candidates and create a smooth, high-quality candidate experience.

Key Responsibilities

1. Recruitment Strategy & Workforce Planning

  • Work closely with management and department heads to understand current and upcoming hiring needs
  • Build role-specific hiring plans for sales, pre-sales, implementation, technical, customer success, and operations roles
  • Create clear candidate personas based on skills, experience, culture fit, and growth potential
  • Maintain a strong recruitment pipeline for priority and recurring roles

2. Sourcing & Talent Pipeline Development

  • Source candidates through LinkedIn, job portals, referrals, databases, communities, and direct outreach
  • Use LinkedIn suite of products for recruitment, including LinkedIn Recruiter, LinkedIn Jobs, search workflows, and InMail outreach
  • Identify candidates from SaaS companies, IT services companies, SaaS partners, system integrators, and digital transformation firms
  • Build and maintain talent pools for future hiring needs
  • Run proactive outreach campaigns for passive candidates

3. Screening & Candidate Evaluation

  • Conduct initial screening calls to evaluate communication skills, experience, motivation, compensation expectations, and role fit
  • Assess candidates for SaaS / IT services exposure, learning agility, ownership mindset, and cultural alignment
  • Coordinate interviews with management and hiring stakeholders
  • Maintain structured interview notes and candidate feedback
  • Ensure shortlisted candidates are well-briefed before interviews

4. Hiring Coordination & Candidate Experience

  • Own interview scheduling and coordination
  • Keep candidates informed throughout the hiring process
  • Ensure a fast, professional, and positive candidate experience
  • Follow up consistently with candidates, interviewers, and hiring managers
  • Improve hiring turnaround time without compromising quality

5. Offer Management & Joining Closure

  • Coordinate compensation discussions, offer rollouts, documentation, and joining timelines
  • Handle negotiation conversations professionally and transparently
  • Reduce offer drop-offs by staying closely engaged with selected candidates
  • Support pre-joining engagement to ensure smooth onboarding
  • Maintain accurate records of offers, acceptances, drop-offs, and joining status

6. Recruitment Operations & Reporting

  • Maintain candidate trackers, hiring dashboards, and recruitment reports
  • Track key hiring metrics such as source effectiveness, interview-to-offer ratio, offer acceptance rate, time-to-hire, and joining ratio
  • Keep recruitment data clean, structured, and updated
  • Recommend process improvements based on hiring data and feedback
  • Support employer branding initiatives through LinkedIn posts, job descriptions, candidate communication, and referral campaigns

Requirements

Communication Skills

  • Exceptional spoken and written English is mandatory
  • Ability to communicate confidently with candidates, hiring managers, and management
  • Ability to write clear job descriptions, outreach messages, and candidate summaries
  • Working knowledge of Hindi is a strong plus

Experience

  • 2+ years of experience in recruitment / talent acquisition preferred
  • Prior hiring experience for SaaS companies, IT services companies, SaaS partners, digital transformation firms, or technology roles is strongly preferred
  • Experience hiring for sales, pre-sales, implementation, customer success, technical support, consulting, or software-related roles is a significant advantage
  • Experience managing end-to-end recruitment from sourcing to joining is required

Recruitment Tools & Sourcing Skills

  • Hands-on experience using LinkedIn for recruitment is mandatory
  • Experience with LinkedIn Recruiter, LinkedIn Jobs, advanced Boolean search, InMail outreach, and candidate pipeline management is strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with job portals, applicant tracking systems, candidate databases, and recruitment trackers
  • Ability to identify and engage passive candidates
  • Comfortable using AI tools to improve sourcing, screening, communication, and reporting

SaaS & IT Services Hiring Aptitude

  • Good understanding of SaaS, IT services, CRM, customer support, sales, implementation, and technical roles
  • Ability to understand role requirements quickly and translate them into sourcing strategies
  • Ability to differentiate strong candidates from average profiles based on experience, communication, and ownership
  • Interest in learning about SaaS products, digital transformation, and AI-led business workflows

Process & Documentation Discipline

  • Strong candidate tracking and follow-up discipline
  • Ability to maintain clean hiring dashboards and recruitment reports
  • Strong attention to detail in resumes, feedback, compensation details, joining dates, and documentation
  • Ability to manage multiple roles and candidates simultaneously

Location & Work Setup

  • This role is based in Coimbatore
  • Candidates must be comfortable working from Kambaa's Coimbatore office
  • Occasional travel to other Kambaa offices or hiring events may be required

Compensation

  • Salary up to 6 LPA
  • Additional incentives based on hiring targets, closures, joining success, and recruitment performance
