Role Overview:
The HR Operations Lead is responsible for managing end‑to‑end HR operations, ensuring seamless execution of HR processes, compliance with statutory and company policies, and delivering operational excellence across the employee lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
1. HR Operations & Process Management
- Drive end‑to‑end HR operations including onboarding, confirmations, documentation, exits, and records management
- Ensure timely execution of HR processes in line with defined TATs and SOPs
- Maintain and continuously improve HR processes, SOPs, and workflows
- Act as the central point for process governance and operational efficiency
2. Compliance & Governance
- Ensure adherence to statutory requirements, labor laws, and internal policies
- Collaborate with Legal and Compliance teams for audit readiness
- Monitor compliance in employee lifecycle processes (e.g., confirmation, documentation)
3. Employee Data & Documentation Management
- Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date employee records, contracts, and HR documentation
- Ensure proper filing, accessibility, and audit readiness of all HR records
- Drive digitization and data integrity across HR systems (HRMS)
4. Stakeholder Management
- Act as a bridge between HRBP, Business, TA, and Employees
- Manage escalations, provide clarifications, and ensure smooth communication across stakeholders
- Support business teams with operational HR requirements and manpower deployment coordination
5. Team Management
- Lead and mentor the HR Operations team
- Allocate tasks, monitor performance, and build capability within the team
- Ensure adherence to daily operations, reporting cadence, and delivery timelines
6. Reporting & Analytics
- Generate and analyze HR metrics, dashboards, and reports
- Provide insights on trends (e.g., onboarding, confirmation, attrition) to support decision‑making
- Support leadership with data‑driven inputs for HR planning
7. Employee Lifecycle Management
- Oversee:
- Onboarding & induction processes
- Employee confirmation and probation management
- Exit and full & final settlement processes
- Ensure smooth transition across all employee touchpoints

- Strong understanding of HR operations, compliance, and labor laws
- Excellent process orientation and documentation skills
- Strong stakeholder management and communication ability
- Data‑driven mindset with exposure to HR analytics / MIS
- Experience working with HRMS (e.g., PeopleStrong)
- Leadership and team management capability
Experience & Qualification
- Qualification: MBA / PGDM in HR or relevant field
