Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive HR Operation Manager to manage the end-to-end HR operations, ensure statutory compliance, oversee payroll inputs, and conduct background verification processes. The ideal candidate will also support and implement PoSH (Prevention of Sexual Harassment) initiatives, fostering a compliant and inclusive workplace culture.

Key Responsibilities:

HR Operations Management:

  • Manage day-to-day HR operations including employee lifecycle activities (onboarding, exits, documentation, HRIS updates).
  • Maintain accurate employee records and ensure timely updates in HR systems.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure smooth HR service delivery.

Statutory Compliance:

  • Ensure adherence to all applicable labour laws and statutory requirements (PF, ESI, Gratuity, Shops & Establishment, etc.).
  • Liaise with external agencies and government authorities for timely filings and audits.
  • Keep abreast of updates in employment laws and recommend process improvements.

Payroll Input Oversight:

  • Collect and verify payroll input data including attendance, leave, and salary revisions.
  • Coordinate with the finance/payroll team to ensure accurate and timely salary processing.
  • Support audits and maintain payroll-related documentation.

Background Verification:

  • Oversee and manage background verification for new hires in coordination with third-party vendors.
  • Ensure all verification reports are complete, accurate, and stored securely.
  • Maintain confidentiality and compliance with data protection standards.

PoSH Initiatives:

  • Support and implement the organization's PoSH policy and initiatives.
  • Coordinate with the Internal Committee and assist in awareness and training sessions.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory requirements under the PoSH Act.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Strong understanding of HR operations and employee lifecycle management.
  • Proven experience ensuring statutory compliance and managing related filings.
  • Hands-on experience with payroll systems and HRIS tools.
  • Meticulous attention to detail, especially in background verification and documentation.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information responsibly.
  • Experience in implementing or managing PoSH initiatives.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proactive problem-solving and stakeholder management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Professional certifications in HR or labour law compliance are an added advantage.
