Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Human Resources Manager for the Events Industry. The role is located in Chennai. The Human Resources Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources practices and processes. This includes developing and implementing HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy, managing the recruitment and selection process - Lead recruitment for creative, production and OPS roles. Manage onboarding, freelance contracts, and team engagement. The HR Manager will also nurture a positive working environment, oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance, and ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of HR experience ideally in events or a creative industry.
  • People-oriented and results-driven
  • Strong multitasking skills
  • Excellent active listening, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company
  • In-depth knowledge of labor law and HR best practices
  • Bachelor's or Post Graduation degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.

Essential Skills:

  • Proficiency in MS Office.

Experience:

  • 3-5 years of experience, preferably in the Events industry.
