Role Description

The HR Manager will be responsible for end-to-end human resources management, with a strong focus on recruitment, policy formulation, HR systems, compliance, and people standards. This is an office-based role, supporting both corporate and project teams, ensuring consistent HR practices across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

1. Recruitment & Talent Acquisition Lead end-to-end hiring for office and site roles sourcing, screening, interviews, and offer rollouts. Coordinate with agencies and internal stakeholders. Maintain recruitment trackers and hiring metrics (TAT, cost per hire, attrition).

2. HR Policies & Governance Develop, implement, and update HR policies, SOPs, and manuals across corporate office and project sites. Benchmark practices against industry standards.

3. Performance Management Design and manage appraisal systems (KPIs, OKRs, annual reviews). Support leadership in goal-setting, feedback cycles, and driving a performance-oriented culture.

4. Employee Engagement & Culture Drive engagement initiatives, handle grievances and disciplinary matters, and support leadership in building a professional, collaborative work environment.

5. Compliance & Statutory Management Ensure adherence to labour laws and statutory requirements EPF, ESIC, PT, Gratuity, CLRA, Shops & Establishments Act. Coordinate audits, inspections, and employee documentation.

6. Payroll & HR Operations Oversee payroll coordination, attendance and leave management, onboarding, exits, and full and final settlements.

7. Training & Development Identify training needs, coordinate induction programs, and support leadership development and succession planning.

8. HR Systems & Reporting Manage HRMIS and HR dashboards. Track and report on manpower strength, attrition, recruitment status, and productivity metrics.

Qualifications

  • MBA / PGDM in Human Resources or equivalent
  • 812 years of experience in HR roles, preferably in construction / infrastructure / EPC sectors
  • Strong exposure to recruitment, HR operations, and compliance
  • Experience handling both office and site manpower is preferred
