Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced HR Manager to lead and manage the full spectrum of human resource functions. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Chennai. The HR Manager will oversee HR operations, drive strategic initiatives, and ensure alignment of HR practices with organizational objectives.

Mandatory: Strong hands-on experience in Performance Management System (PMS) operations.

Key Responsibilities

HR Strategy & Operations

  • Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business objectives
  • Establish and manage HR policies, procedures, and best practices
  • Support leadership with workforce planning and organizational development initiatives

Recruitment & Talent Management

  • Lead end-to-end recruitment and onboarding processes
  • Develop talent acquisition strategies and employer branding initiatives
  • Build strong talent pipelines for business growth

Performance Management (Mandatory Responsibility)

  • Design, implement, and manage the Performance Management System (PMS)
  • Drive goal setting, KPI alignment, appraisal cycles, and performance reviews
  • Guide managers on performance discussions and improvement plans
  • Ensure consistency and fairness in evaluation processes

Employee Relations & Engagement

  • Manage employee relations, grievance handling, and conflict resolution
  • Drive engagement initiatives to improve retention and morale
  • Promote a positive and high-performance work culture

Compliance & Governance

  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and statutory regulations
  • Maintain HR documentation, records, and audit readiness
  • Monitor HR risks and implement corrective measures

Learning & Development

  • Identify training needs and coordinate development programs
  • Support leadership development and succession planning

Reporting & Analytics

  • Prepare HR dashboards, MIS reports, and workforce analytics
  • Provide data-driven insights to senior management

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • Master's degree or HR certification preferred
  • Proven experience in a leadership HR role
  • Mandatory hands-on experience in PMS operations
  • Strong knowledge of labor laws and HR compliance
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and decision-making skills
