Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in the Kolkata metropolitan area for a Human Resources Manager. The HR Manager will oversee all HR functions, develop and implement HR strategies, manage talent acquisition, and ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies. The role involves fostering a positive workplace culture, evaluating and enhancing employee engagement, overseeing employee relations, and supporting leadership in strategic decision-making regarding workforce planning and development.

Qualifications

  • Comprehensive understanding of HR functions, including talent acquisition, employee engagement, organizational development, and performance management
  • Familiarity with Indian labor laws, HR compliance, payroll, and benefits administration
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership abilities to build a collaborative and inclusive work environment
  • Proficiency in HR software and tools for managing employee records and processes
  • Problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and resolve HR challenges effectively
  • Ability to develop and implement HR policies that align with company goals and values
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; a Master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CIPD, SHRM) are a plus
  • Previous experience in a managerial HR role, particularly in logistics, transportation, or operations, is highly desirable
