Our learning programs are designed in-house and are delivered in-person by high quality, well trained instructors.

Flurn's unique approach is to partner with apartment complexes & gated communities to bring our programs directly to the customer staying there. We are India's largest community learning company ,offering 10+ programs across 3 cities in 300+ apartment communities.

Role Description

The HR Manager role is a mission critical , high ownership , autonomous role. You will work closely with the founders on a day to day basis , support the people and operations needs of the company as we scale. You will play a key role in ensuring that core HR and internal operations are executed smoothly and continue to evolve as the business grows. You will handle a mix of responsibilities across recruitment , payroll and compliance coordination and people operations.

As an early-stage startup, Flurn values ownership and initiative. You will often be expected to identify gaps, improve existing processes, and take responsibility for getting things done rather than waiting for detailed instructions.

This role is not limited strictly by title. This is a foundational role at Flurn . You will be helping the founders build the company ground up..

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, BBA, B.Com, or a related field
  • 35 years of experience in an HR Generalist / HR Operations / Admin & HR role
  • Prior hands-on experience in: Recruitment coordination and onboarding, Payroll processing or payroll coordination with finance / CA , HR documentation, attendance and leave tracking
  • Comfortable working with Google Sheets and CRM/HRMS softwares
  • Familiarity with statutory compliance basics (PF, ESIC, TDS) direct or through coordination
  • Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet monthly payroll and hiring timelines
  • Good communication skills in English; knowledge of Kannada / Hindi is a plus
  • High ownership mindset, willingness to learn, and comfort working in a fast-paced startup environment
