Role Description The Human Resources Manager will oversee the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, selection, onboarding, and workforce planning for Edural Classes™. This full-time, on-site role based in Patna will manage HR policies and procedures, maintain employee records, and ensure compliance with applicable labor laws and organizational standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include coordinating hiring processes, conducting interviews, managing performance review frameworks, and supporting managers in people-related decisions. The role will handle payroll inputs, leave management, and employee benefits administration, while fostering a positive, inclusive workplace culture through engagement initiatives, training programs, and conflict resolution support. The Human Resources Manager will also collaborate with leadership to design HR strategies that align with organizational goals and support the growth and well-being of all team members.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in recruitment, talent acquisition, and workforce planning to build and retain high-performing teams.
- Experience in HR operations, including employee onboarding, payroll coordination, leave management, and record-keeping.
- Knowledge of labor laws, HR policies, and compliance practices relevant to the Indian education and startup ecosystem.
- Proficiency in performance management, feedback processes, and employee development programs.
- Ability to design and implement employee engagement, conflict resolution, and grievance management initiatives.
- Effective communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
- Comfort with HR software tools, spreadsheets, and basic data reporting for HR analytics and decision-making.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
- Prior experience as an HR Generalist or HR Manager, preferably in education, social impact, or startup environments.
