Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Manager HR to lead HR operations, payroll, statutory compliance, recruitment, and employee engagement for our fast-growing food manufacturing organization. The ideal candidate should have experience working in start-up or high-growth environments and be able to handle dynamic workloads and work pressure effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with labour laws (PF, ESIC, Factories Act, CLRA, Bonus, Gratuity, etc.).
  • Manage statutory audits, inspections, and compliance reporting.
  • Lead recruitment for hospitality roles/HORECA-facing positions (chefs, commies,HK Corporate).
  • Oversee end-to-end payroll management, including attendance validation, leave management, salary processing inputs, and statutory deductions.
  • Manage HR operations, on boarding, employee records, HRMIS, and policy implementation.
  • Execute employee engagement initiatives, welfare programs, and internal communication forums.
  • Support performance management, training plans, capability building, and employee development.
  • Maintain strong employee relations and address grievances in a professional manner.
  • Work effectively in a start-up-like, fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities under pressure.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 5 8 years of HR experience in food manufacturing/FMCG/hospitality sectors.
  • Prior experience working in start-ups or high-growth companies preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of Indian labour laws and statutory compliance.
  • Hands-on experience in payroll handling and HR operations.
  • Proven ability to handle work pressure, multi-task, and manage tight deadlines.
  • Recruitment expertise for both plant and hospitality/HORECA roles.
  • Excellent communication, employee engagement, and people management skills.
  • Familiarity with GMP/GHP/FSSAI norms is an added advantage.
