Interested in joining one of Canada's top performing asset managers We are looking for a Human Resources Manager for an existing vacancy on our Human Resources team. This role is a critical, hands-on business enabling role responsible for building, scaling, and supporting a high-performing people platform for CC&L India. Reporting to the Head of HR, with a dotted line to the Head of CC&L India and partnering closely with global stakeholders across HR and the business, this role will act as a trusted advisor to business leaders while owning end-to-end HR outcomes across talent, performance, engagement, and compliance.

This role is designed for an experienced HR leader who combines strong execution discipline with sound judgment, effective collaboration, commercial awareness, and the ability to influence at senior levels in a fast-paced, global environment engagement, and compliance.

Shift: 1:30PM-10:30PM

What You Will Do

  • Serve as the primary HR partner to leaders in the India office, providing guidance across the full employee lifecycle including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, employee relations, and development.
  • Build strong relationships with business leaders to understand workforce needs and provide practical HR guidance that supports business objectives and team effectiveness.
  • Partner with global HR colleagues to implement firmwide HR programs, policies, and initiatives while ensuring they are applied effectively within the India office.
  • Support the growth and evolution of the India office by developing and strengthening HR processes, policies, and infrastructure that scale with the business.
  • Provide coaching and advice to managers on performance management, feedback, employee relations matters, and organizational effectiveness.
  • Support hiring efforts by partnering with Talent Acquisition and business leaders to ensure an efficient recruitment process and strong onboarding experience.
  • Contribute to talent initiatives including workforce planning, succession planning, learning and development, and employee engagement programs.
  • Ensure compliance with local employment legislation, regulatory requirements, and internal policies while maintaining accurate HR documentation and records.
  • Help drive a positive, high-performance culture by supporting employee engagement initiatives and reinforcing the firm's values and expectations.
  • Partner with leadership and global HR teams on compensation reviews, organizational planning, and people-related initiatives that support long-term growth.

What You Bring

  • 12–15 years of progressive HR experience, including HR Business Partner or HR Manager roles supporting senior leaders in complex, fast-growing, or regulated environments (e.g., financial services, global capability centres, or professional services).
  • Demonstrated experience across the full HR lifecycle including talent acquisition, performance management, employee relations, workforce planning, engagement, learning and development, and compliance.
  • Strong ability to influence and advise senior leaders while balancing business priorities with people, risk, and compliance considerations.
  • Experience working within global or matrixed organizations and collaborating effectively across functions and geographies.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to use HR data and metrics to inform decisions and improve outcomes.
  • Experience using HR systems such as HRMS and ATS platforms, along with strong proficiency in MS Office tools.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with the ability to establish credibility and trust with employees and leaders.
  • High integrity, sound judgment, and a collaborative approach, with a strong sense of ownership and focus on continuous improvement.
