HR Manager / Senior HR Generalist (812 Years Experience)

The Role
As a key HR partner at the site level, you will be responsible for delivering end-to-end HR support across recruitment, employee lifecycle management, compliance, performance management, and development initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment & Onboarding
- Support end-to-end recruitment and selection processes
- Coordinate and conduct induction and orientation programmes
- Manage pre- and post-joining activities for new hires
- Ensure readiness for new joiners (workstations, IT equipment, ID/access cards)
- Educate employees on company policies and procedures
Compensation, Benefits & Payroll
- Manage attendance data from biometric systems and prepare monthly attendance reports
- Consolidate payroll inputs including leave, incentives, statutory contributions, reimbursements, and adjustments
- Address employee queries related to salary, compensation structure, and taxation
- Handle arrears corrections and investment proof collection
Statutory Compliance
- Ensure full compliance with statutory and labour law requirements at site level
- Manage UAN allocation for new hires
- Oversee monthly challan generation and annual statutory reconciliations
Training & Development
- Identify and analyse organisational and individual training needs
- Prepare and manage quarterly/half-yearly training calendars
- Coordinate internal and external training programmes
- Track training attendance, feedback, and effectiveness
- Communicate additional training needs to HR leadership
HR Policies & Processes
- Support the development and implementation of practical, business-friendly HR policies and processes
Performance Management
- Partner with managers and department heads on performance mapping
- Facilitate goal setting using SMART objectives
- Coordinate performance review cycles and ensure timely completion
- Conduct PMS orientation workshops for managers and employees
- Address performance-related employee queries
HR Data & Audits
- Maintain and update HR databases (employee records, attrition, hiring, appraisals)
- Prepare HR reports and analysis as required
- Support HR audits and ensure timely process compliance
What You Bring
- MBA / Postgraduate qualification in Human Resources
- 812 years experience in a hands-on HR Generalist role
- Strong knowledge of HR operations, statutory compliance, and payroll processes
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong planning, scheduling, and organisational abilities
