The ideal candidate will support the full scope of Human Resources Manager responsibilities and partner with the organization on strategic initiatives. They will maintain and enhance the organization's human resources by planning, implementing, and evaluating human resources policies, programs, and practices.
Responsibilities
Recruitment:
- Posting job advertisements, searching job boards and databases, attending job fairs, utilising social media platforms, and networking.
- Screen candidates by reviewing resumes, cover letters, and applications to shortlist the potential employees
- Conduct interviews in person or via online methodologies
- Negotiate terms and conditions such as compensation, benefits, and facilitate the onboarding process
- Provide reports to the HR management team after tracking metrics, including time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, and quality of hire.
Employee Engagement:
- Act as a primary point of contact for employees regarding employee-related issues, providing timely guidance and support.
- Develop and implement communications, events and engagement plan.
- Develop a comprehensive and sustainable employee engagement strategy.
Employee Relations:
- Implement initiatives to promote engagement, satisfaction, and retention.
- Conducting surveys, organizing events, and facilitating feedback channels.
Exit Process:
- Conduct exit interviews for all employees exiting the school
- Ensure that all employees submit the HR Handover form in time before their exit date.
Qualifications
- Master's degree or relevant experience
- 5+ years experience in Human Resources
- Strong recruiting and demonstrated ability to improve talent acquisition strategies
- Demonstrated expertise training managers and employees
- Strong organizational, critical thinking and communications skills
- Attention to detail and good judgement
