At CraftifAI, we're building the next generation of Agentic AI systems - where intelligent agents run seamlessly across Edge, Embedded, and IoT devices.

The HR Internship offers hands-on exposure to realworld HR operations in a fastpaced technology company. They will directly contribute to building CraftifAI's talent engine and setting up scalable people processes.

Opportunity: Highperforming intern is eligible for a fulltime offer at CraftifAI.

The intern will own and execute a structured HR project designed to enhance CraftifAI's hiring, onboarding, and people operations capabilities.

1. Defining Job Descriptions (JDs)

  • Work with leadership to understand functional needs across AI engineering, product design, marketing, operations, and business roles.
  • Draft clear, compelling JDs aligned with industry benchmarks and CraftifAI's culture.
  • Standardize JD templates for future hiring.

2. Talent Scouting & Channel Management

  • Identify and use relevant sourcing channels (LinkedIn, Naukri, Internshala, GitHub, Kaggle, portfolio platforms, referrals).
  • Shortlist candidates based on required competencies.
  • Build a scalable sourcing tracker.

3. Conducting Initial Interviews

  • Run the firstlevel HR screening calls.
  • Evaluate candidates on communication, culture fit, intent, and role alignment.
  • Maintain structured interview notes.

4. Pipeline Management

  • Coordinate interviews with internal stakeholders.
  • Ensure an uninterrupted flow of shortlisted candidates.
  • Share reminders, collect availability, and maintain recruitment SLAs.

5. Offer Negotiations & Closure

  • Support in discussing compensation, joining dates, and expectations.
  • Draft and share offer letters.
  • Track acceptance, declination, or negotiation requests.
  • Maintain version control for all offer letters.
  • Ensure timely signing and documentation completion.

6. Creating HR Documents & Policies

  • Draft the Employee Handbook, Code of Conduct, Leave Policies, NDA, IP Agreement, and other compliance documents.
  • Benchmark with other tech startups to ensure modern and competitive policies.

7. Onboarding Process Setup

  • Build a smooth onboarding flow for new employees.
  • Prepare joining kits, welcome documents, and 7day onboarding plans.
  • Coordinate welcome communication with the marketing team.

8. Compensation & CTC Research

  • Benchmark CTC structures for tech, AI, engineering, and business roles.
  • Build a compensation comparison table for use in future hiring rounds.

9. Marketing Collaboration

  • Work with the marketing team to create collateral for employee welcome:
  • Welcome cards
  • Social media posts
  • Team introductions
  • Brandaligned communication templates

10. Employee Engagement Activities

  • Plan and run a biweekly Friday catchup session.
  • Conduct an internal session on HR policies and employee guidelines.
  • Create a lightweight engagement plan to improve internal culture.

11. Cross-Functional Exposure (Marketing & Community Building)

  • Step into marketing, social media, and content-building activities when required.
  • Collaborate with Marketing Leads on campaigns, posts, branding, and developer community initiatives.
  • Gain cross-domain expertise beyond HR preparing you for broader strategic roles and next-level career transitions.
