Job Description: HRIS Specialist (UKG Ready)

Location: Bangalore, India (Hybrid)

About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive HRIS Specialist to join our People & Talent team. This role will be responsible for the administration, maintenance, optimization, and continuous improvement of our HR systems, with a strong focus on UKG Ready. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring data integrity, enhancing employee and manager experiences, supporting HR processes through technology, and driving automation and AI-enabled solutions across the People function.

Key Responsibilities

HRIS Administration & Support

• Serve as the primary administrator for UKG Ready and related HR systems.

• Maintain employee records, organizational structures, workflows, security roles, and

system configurations.

• Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and compliance across all HR platforms.

• Troubleshoot system issues and act as the first point of contact for HRIS-related queries.

• Support system upgrades, enhancements, testing, and implementation of new features.

Process Improvement & Automation

• Identify opportunities to streamline and automate People & Culture processes.

• Partner with stakeholders to improve workflows, reduce manual effort, and enhance

operational efficiency.

• Develop and maintain HR process documentation and system procedures.

• Lead continuous improvement initiatives using technology and best practices.

AI & Digital Transformation

• Explore and implement AI-driven solutions to improve HR operations and employee

experience.

• Evaluate emerging HR technologies and recommend innovative solutions.

• Support the adoption of automation tools, AI agents, workflows, and digital solutions

within the People function.

Reporting & Analytics

• Create and maintain HR dashboards, reports, and metrics.

• Support workforce analytics and provide data-driven insights to stakeholders.

• Generate regular and ad-hoc reports for business and leadership requirements.

Systems & Integration Support

• Support integrations between HRIS and other business systems.

• Collaborate with IT, Payroll, Finance, and external vendors on system enhancements and issue resolution.

• Participate in system implementation projects and process redesign initiatives.

Compliance & Governance

• Ensure HR systems comply with company policies, data privacy requirements, and audit standards.

• Support ISO-related documentation and audit requirements where applicable.

• Maintain system controls and user access management processes.

Skills & Experience

Essential

• 4–5 years of HRIS administration experience.

• Hands-on experience administering UKG Ready.

• Strong understanding of HR processes including employee lifecycle management.

• Experience with HR reporting, analytics, and data management.

• Advanced Excel skills and strong data analysis capabilities.

• Experience in process improvement and workflow automation.

• Excellent problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.

Desirable

• Experience working within a GCC or multinational environment.

• Exposure to AI tools, workflow automation platforms, or digital transformation

initiatives.

• Knowledge of HR system integrations and project management.

• Experience supporting ISO or compliance-related audits.
