Under the direction of the HRIS Manager and HR leadership, the Senior HRIS Analyst serves as a technical and strategic owner of the organization's HR systems. This role partners closely with the India HR team, India Payroll team, and IT stakeholders to design, develop, support, and optimize scalable HR technology solutions that enable business outcomes.
Primarily leveraging Dayforce HCM and related enterprise tools, the Senior HRIS Analyst operates with a high degree of autonomy and technical judgment. The role functions in a fastpaced, evolving environment and requires someone who can bring structure, clarity, and solutions where requirements may be developing. Success in this role depends on strong development capability, system architecture thinking, and the ability to translate complex business needs into sustainable technical solutions.
What you will do
Technical Development & Systems Ownership
Design, build, enhance, and support custom configurations, integrations, APIs, data interfaces, and automation solutions within the HRIS ecosystem
Lead handson development using Dayforce tools such as Reporting, Integration Studio, APIs, Dashboards/Analytics, Workflows, and other applicable modules
Perform advanced troubleshooting, rootcause analysis, and resolution of complex system and data issues
Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with applicable regulations
Architecture, Optimization & Governance
Serve as a technical advisor for the India team on HRIS architecture, data flows, and integration design
Evaluate existing configurations and integrations for scalability, performance, and maintainability
Work with the HRIS team to contribute to SaaS HCM upgrades, vendor releases, defect tracking, and infrastructure changes
Establish and maintain technical standards, operating procedures, workflows, SOPs, and documentation
Strategic Partnership & Delivery
Partner with functional SMEs and business leaders to translate requirements into technical designs and executable solutions
Operate effectively in evolving environments with changing priorities, proactively clarifying requirements and driving work to completion
Lead or support system implementations, regulatory initiatives, and crossfunctional HR technology projects
Provide handson system support and training with a strong focus on customer experience
Mentor junior HRIS analysts and elevate team technical capability through knowledge sharing and best practices
Data, Reporting & Insights
Build, analyze, and support complex HR and Payroll data requests
Develop scalable reporting, dashboards, and workforce analytics solutions
Support workforce business intelligence initiatives and datadriven decision making
What you will bring
Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience
5+ years of progressive experience in HRIS, enterprise systems, or HR technology roles
3 years of experience with Dayforce HCM and demonstrated handson development experience, including one or more of the following:
o HRIS configuration frameworks and calculated fields
o APIs, SFTP, flatfile and middleware integrations
o SQL, complex data modeling, or ETL processes
o Automation or custom tooling
Strong working knowledge of HR, India Payroll, Benefits, and employee data lifecycles
Proven ability to work independently, manage evolving requirements constructively, and deliver outcomes
Advanced analytical and problemsolving skills focused on large, complex HR datasets
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (PivotTables, formulas, lookups; ETL functions a plus)
Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to nontechnical audiences
What we would like to see
Experience with India Human Resources and Payroll administration is a plus
