Job Purpose
To support the HR team in ensuring timely and accurate compliance with statutory and labour laws, maintaining documentation, and assisting in audits and regulatory filings.
Key Responsibilities
- Statutory Compliance Support
Assist In Maintaining Records Related To
Provident Fund (PF)
Employee State Insurance (ESI)
Professional Tax (PT)
Labour Welfare Fund (LWF)
Support preparation and verification of monthly and annual statutory filings.
Track statutory due dates and assist in compliance calendars.
Assist in maintaining registers and records as per applicable labour laws, such as:
Shops & Establishments Act
Factories Act (if applicable)
Contract Labour (Regulation & Abolition) Act
Support preparation and upkeep of employee data, wage registers, and attendance records.
- Vendor & Contractor Compliance
Assist in collecting and verifying compliance documents from contractors and vendors.
Help maintain contractor-wise compliance trackers and records.
Coordinate with site HR / contractors for documentation follow-ups.
- Audit & Inspection Support
Support HR during internal and external audits related to statutory compliance.
Assist in compiling documents for labour inspections and compliance reviews.
Assist in maintaining employee files (physical and digital).
Support HR operations and reporting as required.
Handle basic HR data entry and MIS preparation.
Desired Candidate Profile
Education
Currently Pursuing Or Recently Completed
MBA / MMS in HR
PGDM (HR)
MSW or equivalent HR-related course
Knowledge & Skills
Basic understanding of Indian labour laws and statutory compliance (preferred).
Good working knowledge of MS Excel and MS Office.
Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
Willingness to learn statutory processes and compliance requirements.
Behavioral Skills
High level of confidentiality and integrity.
Good communication and coordination skills.
Proactive and eager to learn attitude.
